    Job Qualifications:

    Elance-oDesk is looking for an outstanding Visual

    Design Intern to join our growing UX team. You’ll help develop the next-generation of our visual design language by creating inspiring experiences across marketing and product. If you have a portfolio bursting at the seams with brilliant visual design, give us a holler.

    Responsibilities:

    Act as a junior visual designer across multiple projects including graphic design and interactive
    design.

    Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other designers, from ideation to implementation.
    Create stunning and innovative pixel-perfect designs with an extreme attention to detail.
    Utilize insights, pain points and opportunities from stakeholder interviews and research to inform
    your designs.
    Be self-motivated, comfortable following direction, willing to learn and able to balance great design
    with meeting short deadlines.
    Work closely with a Creative Director to develop the future of our product and brand.

    Experience:
    Knowledge of user experience practices including content strategy, user research, usability, interaction
    design, information architecture and visual design.
    Knowledge of crafting interfaces across multiple platforms and operating systems including desktop,
    tablet and mobile.
    An understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and responsive design.
    Ability to work across mediums including graphic design and interactive design.
    Familiar with digital tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Fireworks.
    Experience creating motion graphics a plus.
    Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Interactive Design or a related field.
